THE UPPER

    • Remove the shoe laces for convenience and insert a shoe tree if you have one.
    • To rid the upper surface of the shoe of any dust particles, use a soft brush to run it in a two-and-fro motion. You can use a soft toothbrush to clean the areas hard to get into.
    • Sprinkle 3-4 drops of water on the shoe and wipe it evenly on the shoe with a dry cloth to clean the shoes.
    • Do not use water as it may cause discoloration of the shoe etc.
    • Use a soft brush to remove any dirt in a to-and-fro motion until free of all the dust particles

THE SOLE, INNER LINING

  • The interior of a shoe often goes ignored, and, it is this part that requires the most attention because salt gets deposited here. It is therefore, important to air the shoe especially, while removing the footbed and placing your shoes against the wall to let the air flow in and out easily.
  • Use a brush to remove any dirt, grime or gunk. If required use soap lather to cleanse the stains on the sole edges and bottom of the shoes.
  • Use a shoe tree to maintain the shape of the shoes.
